We believe great events start with great people. Yes, we’re a Brisbane-based event hire business with beautiful pieces, well-executed logistics, and exciting styling options, but what really sets us apart is our team. We’re more than just work mates, we’re a family.
In this industry, no two days are ever the same. Events change, timelines shift, and clients dream big (which we love). That’s why having a strong, adaptable, and values-driven team is not just important, it’s everything. I often say “we’ve built Brandition by surrounding ourselves with people of all different skill sets, personalities, and backgrounds. Each of us brings something unique, and that diversity is what makes us stronger.”
Some of us are natural problem solvers. Others are creatives, logistical legends, or big-picture thinkers. But what unites us is a shared drive to create great spaces and do work we’re proud of—for clients we genuinely enjoy working with.
Let me introduce you to some of the team that makes the magic happen every day.
There’s Anita, our finance guru, she wears a few hats – including our website design and tech solutioniser. Anita is the quiet engine that keeps us running. She’s kind, dedicated, and the definition of loyal. Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you Anita is the glue that holds so much of Brandition together.
Belinda, who handles repairs and maintenance, came from the corporate world but has found her happy place here. Every table, bar, or backdrop that leaves our warehouse has been lovingly maintained by Belinda. She’s practical, funny, endlessly generous, and brings the best warehouse playlists.
Then there’s Jess, our Logistics & Warehouse go-to, Jess leads with heart and instinct. She’s meticulous, dedicated, and has a genuine passion for events.
Taylor, our Sales guru and Lead stylist, brings boundless energy and creativity to the team. Whether it’s building a charcuterie board with salami roses or coordinating floral styling, Taylor is full of life, motivated, and brings joy into every room she enters.
Also Michelle, our previous owner and now marketing and design support, is the wise soul of Brandition. She knows everything (seriously), and her mentorship has been invaluable to me personally. Michelle’s deep understanding of the business and love for the team continues to shape our success.
Darcy, our quietly brilliant warehouse Lead. A musician at heart and one of the most dependable people I’ve worked with, Darcy leads from the front with calm confidence and a rare maturity that makes him a firm favourite amongst the team.
Then there is the Logistics team of Tibbsy, Javi, Charlie, Archer, Chelsea, Daniella, Siena, and the occasional Sidekicker, who literally make up the backbone of the business; we cannot execute amazing jobs without these guys.
And myself, Nicola, I became Owner & Director of Brandition mid 2023 after working in the business for approximately 8 years. I’d say I’m fiercely passionate and driven with a keen eye for detail.
Across all areas—sales, styling, logistics, repairs, operations, finance, marketing—what makes this team so special is the culture we’ve created together. It’s a space where people are valued for who they are, where ideas are listened to, and where hard work is balanced with laughter, music, and the occasional cheeky office port.
